Fred P. Langer, Partner
As both a personal injury attorney and registered nurse, Fred Langer brings a unique combination of skills to NLE Law. With his clinical and legal experience, he has the ability to assess his clients' long-term care needs and the legal skills to recover fair compensation. Fred's practice also emphasizes prosecuting wrongful denial of long-term disability insurance claims on both the ERISA and private context.
Fred has spent many of his 20 years as an attorney asserting legal rights for patients to obtain compensation for appropriate care, often working hand-in-hand with physicians to achieve this goal. However, he has also aggressively pursued cases where physicians have obviously failed to meet the standards of care needed for patients. Helping clients get the care and compensation required to meet their needs is a core driver of Fred's medical and legal expertise.
Fred is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and Oregon Bar Association. Along with the other attorneys at Nelson, Langer, and Engle, he is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ). Fred served as a board member of the Brain Injury Association of Washington. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
He has been selected to the Washington Super Lawyers List from 2007 to 2009 and 2011 to 2020.
